A few weeks ago, I went to the movies and watched the Lorax, which gave me a super-cool idea for a new book. It will be called the Ideals. Here is a preview from the story:
"Here," Erain said, holding out his hand to help her up. "You must come through this way."
Mara flinched slightly as they stepped through the curtain. "It hurts." she whispered. She
strengthened her grip on Erain's wrist as the cold air of the Gateway passed over them.
"You may open your eyes now." he said. Mara did. Her face broke into a grin.
"That's wicked," she said.
Erain frowned. "No. It is Ideal."

ok, bad news, guys....
I hate to mention any bad news, but I think I have to, so here goes;
I lost my story.
I'm sorry, maybe that was too basic. This might be easier to understand:
I lost 'Why Walk When You Can Teleport'.
I'm so sorry! I really can't find it anywhere, so I might not be able to continue writing the story until I find it. But if I DO find it, you will all be the first to know! I promise!

Why Walk When You Can Teleport? {con.}(again!)
***Here's my latest add-on...read and enjoy.***
When Caitlyn got home, she immediately called Naomi.
"Caitlyn?" Naomi sounded nervous.
"Who else would it be?!" Caitlyn exclaimed. "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Well I'm sorry, but it didn't even work," Naomi stuttered.
Caitlyn hissed at her. "It worked enough!"
Her friend sniffed haughtily. "I was just as excited as you, and I wanted to show someone."
Huh. "And that someone being Oliviana?"
"Well....yes," Naomi responded. "Why didn't it work, anyways?"
Caitlyn bit her lip, which was Naomi's habit, not hers. "I don't know." Her voice was small, and she felt scared inside. Surely she hadn't lost her power already?
Naomi sensed the weakness in their conversation, and quickly changed the subject. "About the project-- you still want me to come over?"
Caitlyn let out a sigh of relief. "Yeah, sure. Couldn't hurt, I guess." She was playing guilty, but Naomi saw right through it.
There was a long pause. "Caitlyn Megan Brown, I'm really sorry." said Naomi.
Caitlyn giggled. "I accept, Naomi Finn Birch."
There was a long moment of silence, then they both burst out laughing. It was something they shared, apology using full names. In grade 2, Caitlyn had accidentally kicked Naomi on the playground and the teacher had made her apologize in that way. After that, it sort of stuck.
"Sooo...see you at 7:30?" Caitlyn confirmed.
"Absolutely,"
***That's all for now, folks. I'll be posting more soon!***
